Held every four years under the auspices of the World Bonsai Friendship Federation (WBFF), the convention brings together bonsai masters, enthusiasts, scholars, and communities from across the globe. Hosting the convention for the first time, Malaysia marks a significant milestone in its bonsai journey, highlighting its role as a cultural hub in Southeast Asia. Guided by the theme "Unity in Diversity", this collection showcases Malaysia's diverse bonsai styles and tropical species to the global community.
