Description
Overview

For centuries, Malaysia and China have enjoyed a rich history of cultural exchanges, and people-to-people interactions. Malaysia's second Prime Minister, Tun Abdul Razak bin Hussein made history by being the first ASEAN
leader to establish formal diplomatic relations by signing a Joint Communiqué with China’s Premier Chou En-lai on 31 May 1974.

To mark the 50th anniversary of Malaysia-China’s diplomatic relations, Pos Malaysia and China Post collaborate to issue a joint-issue featuring iconic trees of both countries namely Merbau and Pine.
